is the best word I can come up with when describing our
cattery. Love to animals and love to people.
Small Family Run Cattery : My
husband and I live in a lovely traditional house
situated in
Snøde on Langeland in Danmark , 60
minutes drive from Odense. Our Sphynx live
with us in our house as an integrated part of our
family. NONE of our cats are caged and only males are
occasionally kept a part from the females in order to
ensure a proper, healthy and controlled breeding
environment!!
The love we give our animals is returned a thousand
times and there are not enough words to describe the
affection we have for them. In 1989 a Danish breeder let
me hold one of her Devon Rex studs in my arms – and I
fell in love with the breed instantly. 10 years later my
dream came true when I bought a little gorgeous white
odd-eyed male from her -“Bodwins Icy” (please
go to the page “Our Cats” – “In Memoriam”).
I've been attracted to the Sphynx for many years and in
February 2005 my husband and I held and touched a Sphynx
for the first time at a cat show – there was no time to
loose, we lost our hearts both of us and in May 2005 our
first Sphynx “Zayan Valhalla des Elfes du Lac”
moved in with us.
Passionate and
serious :
We’re registered
with Fife and TICA and possess the French “certificat de
capacité” No. C-268, which is the official French
acknowledgement of basic breeding knowledge. We´re
members of DARAK, Rex og Sphynx Klubben and Sphynx Club
de France (SCF).
Our dream and
passion is to raise healthy and well socialized kittens
with lots of love and respect. Kittens with adorable
characters, healthy in body and mind! For us perfect
socialization is the key-word from birth to departure
from our home.
